Sandiaga Uno admitted that he would consult with the general chairman of the Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto regarding the support of the Gorontalo DPW PPP in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres). Sandiaga admitted that he appreciated PPP for declaring him as a presidential candidate (candidate).
“Of course we appreciate that, but once again I say that the decision is in a political party and of course I have met with the President, I will soon meet with Mr Prabowo,” said Sandiaga Uno after a friendly meeting with DPW PPP Gorontalo at the Aston Gorontalo Hotel reported by detikSulsel , Sunday (26/3/2023) evening.
Sandiaga admitted that he had come to meet the management of the Gorontalo DPW just to stay in touch. He said he only returned home to meet his extended family in his homeland.
“I am here as part of the friendship as a big family, I am happy to meet (with my extended family),” he explained.
For this reason, he was reluctant to talk at length about his support. He reasoned that he wanted to focus on worship in the month of Ramadan.
“We pause for a while, we cooldown first for practical political discussions, we reflect on this holy month of Ramadan, we will make sure of the steps going forward,” said Sandiaga.
