Presidential candidate number 2 Prabowo Subianto uttered the proverb ‘milk for tube water’. Presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan then commented in response to Prabowo.
The proverb ‘milk for tube water’ was also uttered by Prabowo while campaigning in Jambi. Most recently, Prabowo again uttered this proverb in front of his supporters while campaigning in Bangka Belitung, Friday (12/1/2024).
“A friend of mine said, it’s true that sometimes the sayings of our ancestors are true. Be careful, we can measure the depth of the sea, we can’t necessarily measure the depth of a person’s heart. There is also advice from our ancestors, be careful, sometimes “Sometimes breast milk is returned with tubal water,” said Prabowo at the Consolidation of Advanced Indonesia for the Bangka Belitung Islands Province event, Thursday (11/1/2024).
Furthermore, Prabowo also quoted other proverbs. This is a proverb about human nature after being given kindness.
“There is also the teaching of our ancestors, be careful, if you give food to a dog it will be loyal, if humans are given kindness they will be rewarded with envy,” he said.
Even so, he didn’t think too much about it. If there will be slander or ridicule, Prabowo said just dance.
“But, there’s no problem. If you’re teased, if you’re insulted, if you’re slandered, just dance,” he said.
