Chairman of the Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto arrived at the headquarters of the Indonesian Solidarity Party DPP (PSI) in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (2/8).

Prabowo came with other Gerindra party elites such as Deputy Chairperson of the Gerindra Party Habiburokhman to. Jakarta Gerindra Party DPD chairman Ahmad Riza Patria.
Prabowo’s arrival was immediately welcomed by PSI General Chair Giring Ganesha and a number of other PSI elites. Both Prabowo and Giring didn’t talk much, they just smiled at the media crew.
Prabowo’s visit this time was carried out after PSI sent its cadres to attend Prabowo’s declaration by the Crescent Star Party (PBB) on Sunday (30/7).
Meanwhile, PSI had previously announced its support for Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 Presidential Election. Ganjar was chosen through the results of the people’s consultation or the selection of presidential candidates by PSI.
In fact, the declaration of support was made by PSI in October 2022, or long before Ganjar was officially announced by PDIP. However, until now PSI has not been accepted directly by PDI-P as the bearer party.
Later, last May, PSI Chairman Giring Ganesha said that his party had not officially supported the Governor of Central Java. Giring said that his party was still waiting for the President’s direction.
