Prabowo Subianto Visits President Jokowi’s Private Residence During Eid Gathering

The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia who is also the General Secretary of Gerindra Prabowo Subianto visiting President Jokowi’s private residence in Sumber, Solo, Central Java. Gerindra Board of Trustees member Andre Rosiade paid attention to the expressions of the two figures during the 2023 Eid gathering.

“I was not present there, but from the photos shown, I see that Pak Prabowo’s sincere smile meets Pak Jokowi’s happy smile,” Andre told reporters, Saturday (22/4/2023).

Prabowo came to Jokowi’s house with his son, Didit Hediprasetyo. The two were welcomed by Jokowi, First Lady Iriana, and their sons, Gibran Rakabuming Raka and Kaesang Pangarep. Secretary General of Gerindra Ahmad Muzani and Deputy Head of Gerindra Sugiono also participated in the gathering.

Andre said that from the photos he saw and the information he received from the participants, Jokowi and Prabowo met in an atmosphere of intimacy. He specifically commented on the photo together when Prabowo and Jokowi smiled together.

“The point was earlier, it’s the smile of a sincere person meets the smile of a happy person. This is in accordance with the joyful and happy Eid atmosphere,” he said.

Prabowo visits Jokowi’s residence, Saturday (22/4) this afternoon. The meeting lasted about 1.5 hours.
