Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Prabowo Subianto received a telephone call from the King of Arabia, Tuesday. At least this was done by King Abdullah II of Jordan.
Prabowo and King Abdullah themselves are known to have known each other for a long time. Then what did he say?
On that occasion, King Abdullah congratulated Prabowo. This is related to the presidential election (pilpres) where Prabowo dominates both the quick count (quick count) or real count General Election Commission (KPU).
“Happy to you my friends. Congratulations,” he said as seen in a video uploaded to the Instagram social media account @prabowo, Wednesday (13/3/2024).
Prabowo then answered while thanking him. He admitted that he actually wanted to contact King Abdullah in the next few weeks.
King Abdullah then responded to this by saying he wanted to congratulate Prabowo directly. Where he might visit.
“I am very happy for you. And I know your country needs you,” he said again.
“I’ve known you for a long time, and I’m very proud of you, my friend,” he added.
The conversation became even warmer when King Abdullah offered whatever Prabowo might need in the future. There Prabowo then said he couldn’t wait to meet.
“I have beautiful memories in Amman (the capital of Jordan),” said Prabowo.
The King then responded by saying how much he had fond memories of Prabowo. This also calls him “my friend” again.
“Hearing your voice makes me very happy. Thank you very much,” he stressed.
On that occasion, Prabowo also conveyed greetings to a number of princes in Jordan. Starting from Prince Faisal to Prince Ghazi.
“I will soon meet you in my country or your country,” said the King again to Prabowo.
“We are committed to continuing to strengthen friendship and cooperation between the two countries. May Allah SWT always bestow His blessings and mercy on King Abdullah II and our family and brothers and sisters in Jordan,” said Prabowo in his post statement.
On the other hand, Prabowo also gave a special caption to the upload. He said he was very honored to receive congratulations on the preliminary election results from “friends of His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan”.
“We are committed to continuing to strengthen friendship and cooperation between the two countries. May Allah SWT always bestow His blessings and mercy on King Abdullah II and his family and brothers and sisters in Jordan,” said Prabowo.
The presidential election was held last February 14. Later the new President of the Republic of Indonesia will be inaugurated in October 2024.
