Ketum Gerindra Prabowo Subianto responded to the opportunity Sandiaga Uno is matched with Anies Baswedan in the 2024 presidential election. Prabowo said that Sandiaga would certainly comply with the party’s decision.
“I think Sandi has answered many times in a forum, that he obeys and will comply with party decisions,” said Prabowo in Hambalang, Sunday (5/3/2023).
Prabowo emphasized that the party’s decision was of course to choose him to run as a presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election. He was sure that Sandi would obey the party.
“And the party’s decision is clear that I am the presidential candidate, I think that’s it,” he said.
“As long as he is in the party, yes he will obey the party line I think,” he added.
Previously, Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) politician Andy Azizi did not deny that until now the vice presidential candidate for Anies Baswedan had not yet been decided. PKS has even begun to open opportunities for Anies Baswedan to coexist with Gerindra Party Cadre Sandiaga Uno in 2024.
Initially, Andy said that Anies Baswedan’s candidacy for 2024 would not be difficult for the ‘Change Coalition’. However, he ensured that until now the issue of Anies Baswedan’s companion was still being discussed.
“So indeed Mas Anies brought these three parties together, so it was not too difficult for us to come to an agreement that the one we will be carrying is Mas Anies Baswedan. this party agreed to hand it over to Mas Anies,” Andy said in the Adu Perspective discussion as broadcast detikcomWednesday (1/3).
Andy said that the ‘Change Coalition’ would certainly consider someone who could bring Anies Baswedan to victory. In addition, it is also waiting for the movement of other coalitions.
“We have also seen movements from other coalitions, yes, when compared to other coalitions we are even more advanced, because the presidential candidates have been positive, right? party, we are not too late,” he said.
