Prabowo appoints Raffi Ahmad and Gus Miftah as special presidential envoys

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —

President Prabowo Subianto appointed famous people Rafi Ahmad and a preacher Miftah Maulana alias Gus Miftah as special presidential envoy.

In documents obtained by CNNIndonesia.com, seven special presidential clients will be announced today. Raffi Ahmad was appointed as Special Presidential Envoy for Young Generation Workforce Development and Arts.

Gus Miftah then became the President’s special envoy for Religious Harmony and Development of Religious Resources.

In addition, there are five other special messengers. One of them is the daughter of PAN General Chairman Zulkifli Hasan, Zita Anjani. Zita became the President’s Special Ambassador for Tourism.

Then there is PPP Chairman Muhammad Mardiono who is the President’s Special Envoy for Food Security. Then, Setiawan Ichlas became the President’s Special Envoy for Economics and Banking.

Ahmad Ridha Sabana is the President’s special envoy for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Creative and Digital Economy. At the same time, Mari Elka Pangestu became the President’s Special Envoy for Trade.

Raffi Ahmad et al. scheduled for 10.30 WIB. The inauguration was held at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta.

The position of special messengers is regulated by Presidential Regulation Number 137 of 2024. This regulation states that special messengers will receive the same financial resources as ministers.
