PPP Urges Denny Indrayana to Make Noise and Report to Police Over Slander Accusations.

Chairman of the DPP PPP Achmad Baidowi alias Awiek believes that the accusations by Constitutional Law Expert Denny Indrayana are related Suharso Monoarfa who was removed from the General Chair of the PPP because he often met Anies Baswedan is slander.

Awiek encouraged the former deputy minister of law and human rights to make noise so that his party would report it to the police.

“PPP is also accused that Pak Suharso was replaced because he met Anies four times, that’s data that can’t be accounted for. We even thought that we would make a fuss so we could report it to the police,” Awiek said at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday (8/6).

Awiek confirmed that PPP is committed and has conveyed to all of its cadres to maintain political stability ahead of the 2024 Election. He reminded that competition is a normal thing, including differences of opinion.

According to him, preventing riots throughout the political year is a shared commitment and obligation.

“So four or three pairs, two pairs, that’s normal. Including me and Pak Misbahkun (Golkar) who are still in KIB, we and Pak Herman Khaeron (Democrat) have different opinions, that’s normal,” he said.

Previously, Denny Indrayana encouraged the DPR to use its right of inquiry to examine Jokowi in the context of his impeachment process as president. At least Denny gave three reasons. First, there are indications that Anies Baswedan is being tackled in the 2024 presidential election.

Second, regarding Jokowi’s attitude that seemed to remain silent when KSP Moeldoko tried to uproot the Democratic Party. Finally, Denny also believes that Jokowi has used his power and the legal system to pressure political party leaders in determining the direction of the coalition in the 2024 election.

Denny also admitted that he received information that the sovereignty of political parties would be disturbed if there were actions that were not in accordance with Jokowi’s plan to win the 2024 presidential election.

For example, when Suharso Monoarfa was removed from the position of chairman of PPP. Denny received information that Suharso’s removal was designed in such a way because Suharso had met Anies Baswedan four times.

While Plt. PPP chairman Mardiono believes President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will not be impeached from his position as head of state and head of government.

Mardiono said this in response to Denny Indrayana’s statement urging the DPR to use its right of inquiry to examine Jokowi regarding cawe-cawe.

“If people say impeachment and so on, yes, if I answer, ‘Who are you?’,” said Mardiono at the PPP DPP Office, Wednesday (7/6)
