TRIBUNNEWS.COM – The government has again implemented rules and regulations to prevent a spike in the 2019 Corona Virus Disease at Christmas 2021 and New Year 2022.
During the 2022 Christmas and New Year celebrations, the government will re-enact the Level 3 Regulations for the Enforcement of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) in accordance with the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs (Inmendagri).
Rule PPKM During Christmas and New Year, it is stated in the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 62 of 2021.
The PPKM rules during Christmas and New Year’s Day 2022 will be officially implemented from December 24, 2021 to January 2, 2022.

Quoted from Minister of Home Affairs Number 62 of 2021, here are the PPKM Level 3 Rules and Conditions for Christmas and New Year 2021:
– Prohibition of leave for State Civil Apparatus (ASN), Indonesian National Army (TNI), Indonesian National Police (POLRI), State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and private employees during the Nataru holiday period.
– An appeal to workers/labourers to postpone taking leave after the Nataru holiday period.
– An appeal to schools, distribution of report cards for semester 1 (one) in January 2022 and no special holidays during the Nataru holiday period.
– Carry out enforcement PPKM Level 3 (three) at weddings and similar events.
– Eliminate cultural arts and sports activities from December 24, 2021 to January 2, 2022.
