The government has extended the implementation of restrictions on community activities (PPKM) until August 9. KAI Commuter confirmed that it still applies a worker registration certificate (STRP) as a travel requirement KRL.
“Travel documents such as STRP and other certificates are still a requirement for users in essential and critical sectors to be able to ride the KRL,” said VP Corporate Secretary of KAI Commuter Anne Purba in a written statement, Monday (2/8/2021).
Anne said officers would continue to check documents at each station. The terms of this document will still be enforced indefinitely.
“Officers in the field will also strictly check the completeness of the required documents. These provisions will remain in effect until further information is provided,” said Anne.
In addition, to help speed up the national vaccination process, Anne said that her party carried out vaccinations at several stations. So far, a total of 3,000 people have participated in the vaccination.
“It has been recorded that more than 3,000 people have participated in the vaccination program held at five stations, namely Duri Station, Angke, Jakarta Kota, Rangkasbitung, and Cikarang,” said Anne.
“Especially for vaccination at Cikarang Station, starting today (2/8), 370 users have been able to vaccinate KRL and the community around the station,” he continued.
Called for Wednesday (3/8), vaccinations are available at Cikarang Station (serving the first dose), Duri Station (serving the first and second dose), and Angke Station (serving the first and second dose). KRL users can register through the KAI Commuter website at vaccination.krl.co.id to take part in tomorrow’s vaccination.
The following are the travel requirements using KRL during the PPKM Level 4 extension period:
1. STRP or certificate from the local government, or
2. Letter of assignment from the head of the company or government agency where he works.
3. Users with urgent needs (medical/treatment needs, childbirth, bereavement, vaccinations) are also required to show the appropriate documents or certificates.
