PPKM Level 4 Continues, Check Out the KRL Schedule Starting Tomorrow and the Rise Terms

PPKM level 4 will be continued until August 2. KAI Commuter will serve 982 KRL trips per day operating from 04.00-22.00 WIB starting Monday (26/7).

KRL continues to only serve users in the essential and critical sectors, as well as people with urgent needs according to the rules that are in effect until August 2, 2021. It refers to the Circular of the Ministry of Transportation No. 50 year 2021.

Then, the Yogyakarta-Solo KRL operates with 20 KRL trips per day starting at 05.15-18.30 WIB. Meanwhile, the Prambanan Express train serves 8 train trips per day.

“Advanced engineering operations will be carried out by KAI Commuter in accordance with the trend in the volume of KRL users,” KAI Commuter VP Corporate Secretary Anne Purba said in a written statement, Sunday (25/7/2021).

KRL users still have to bring and show the required travel documents to ride the KRL, valid from Monday 26 July to 2 August 2021.

“Workers in the business sector who have been permitted by the government to reopen with strict health protocols are also requested by us to prepare appropriate travel documents and requirements,” he continued.

Travel requirements documents that must be carried by KRL passengers, namely STRP or a certificate from the local government, or a letter of assignment from the head of the company or government agency where he works.

Users with urgent needs such as medical/medical needs, childbirth, bereavement, vaccinations are also required to show the appropriate documents or certificates.

“During the implementation of this Emergency PPKM, KAI Commuter also enforced the application of health protocols both in the station area and on KRL trips in accordance with government regulations. Starting from tightening restrictions on the number of KRL users on each train or carriage at one time, namely as many as 52 people from each capacity. the train,” he explained further.

In addition, users are also required to use double masks with medical masks covered with cloth masks as recommended by the Ministry of Health, or use N95, KN95, or KF94 types of masks without the need for duplicates.

“Users are also expected to wash their hands before and after boarding the KRL by utilizing the additional hand washing facilities at stations,” added Anne.
