PPK and PPS job vacancies for the 2024 election, take a look at terms, salary and how to register

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Good news for those of you who are looking vacancy. General Election Commissions (KPU extension) RI has opened the recruitment process for District Election Committee members (PPK extension) and the voting committee (PS) for the 2024 concurrent election.

Registration for prospective PPK members will run from November 20, 2022 to November 29, 2022. Meanwhile, PPS registration will open from December 18, 2022 to December 27, 2022.

Quoted from the news kompas.com Earlier, Parsadaan Harahap, RI KPU HR coordinator, said the number of PPK members to be recruited has reached 36,330 for 7,266 sub-districts across Indonesia.

Meanwhile, the number of PPS members to be recruited has reached 251,295 people for 83,765 villages/wards across Indonesia.

Requirements for PPK and PPS members

1. Indonesian citizens
2. the minimum age is 17 (seventeen) years for PPK and PPS
3. loyal to Pancasila as the foundation of the state, the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia of 1945, the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika and the ideals of the proclamation of August 17, 1945
4. have integrity, strong personality, honest and loyal
5. not be a member of a political party as attested by a valid declaration, or for at least 5 (five) years no longer be a member of a political party as proven by a declaration from the leadership of the political party concerned
6. able physically, spiritually and free from drug abuse
7. at least high school education or equivalent
8. have never been sentenced to imprisonment on the basis of a court decision that has permanent legal force for committing an offense punishable by imprisonment of 5 (five) years or more

How to register for PPK and PPS recruitment

Registration for PPK and PPS this time is done through the official website of the information system for members of Siakba KPU and ad hoc agency (SIAKBA).kpu.go.id. SIAKBA was officially launched on October 20, 2022.

In order to register as a PPK and PPS member, the community must have a SIAKBA account. Applicants then need to prepare PPK and PPS registration files Elections 2024.

Below are some documents needed to register for PPK and PPS:

1. Letter of registration as a candidate for PPK and PPS members
2. Photocopy of the electronic identity card
3. Photocopy of high school diploma/equivalent or most recent diploma
4. Letter of declaration for the fulfillment of the requirements
5. A certificate of physical and mental health for letter g requirements issued by a health centre, hospital or clinic which includes checking blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol levels
6. Curriculum vitae
7. 4×6 color photograph

Completed documents can be submitted to the Regency/Municipal KPU/KIP by independently uploading them to the Siakba website.
