Jakarta, CNNIndonesia —
Center for Financial Transaction Reporting and Analysis (PPATK) have blocked accounts allegedly belonging to tax consultant echelon III officials of the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) Rafael Alun Trisambodo.
Head of PPATK Ivan Yustiavandana said PPATK also blocked the accounts of parties related to Rafael.
“Yes, there was a blocking of a tax consultant who was suspected of being an RAT nominee [Rafael Alun Trisambodo] as well as several other related parties,” said Ivan when contacted, Friday (3/3).
According to him, the blocking was carried out because PPATK suspected professional money laundering practices.
“We indicated that there was PML (professional money launderer) which has been acting in the interest of RAT [Rafael Alun Trisambodo],” he said.
Rafael’s wealth came into the spotlight after his son, Mario Dandy Satrio, abused the son of GP Ansor administrator, Cristalino David Ozora. Rafael, who is an echelon III official at the Directorate General of Taxes, is recorded as having assets of up to IDR 56 billion.
Rafael has undergone a clarification process by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) regarding assets of IDR 56 billion on Wednesday (1/3).
Rafael as the Head of the General Section of the Directorate General of Taxes of the Ministry of Finance for the South Jakarta II Regional Office stated that he had conveyed all matters related to his assets to the KPK.
