The PP-DB seems to believe that they contributed to the crisis and the split of the DPS. This was discovered from an interview with the vice-president of the right wing union Daniel Laurer with bTV.
He said that he does not believe that there is good and bad in politics. “The more we turn to personal struggle – the ‘Peevski model’, the ‘Dogan model’, the ‘Borisov model’, the more we identify them with some people, the harder it is to work with the parties they represent. Laurer believes. He therefore suggested that the right-wing parties would continue to consider cooperation opportunities with DPS and GERB-SDS.
The MP directly said that one of the reasons for the split of the DPS was “our presence (PP-DB – note ed.) on the political field”, because this presence changed the political reality of the country. The tandem between GERB and DPS ended. This tension in the political model created a very high tension between its elements, and in the end something broke,” explained the former minister Laurer vaguely.
The right-wing politician also announced that PP-DB pressure made the prosecutor’s office “move in the right direction”. He believes that the interim chief prosecutor Borislav Sarafov “is forced to think about the following from now on for Bulgaria – should he serve the Bulgarian society or his political masters”.
charges
Later, on the sidelines of the parliament, the chairman of the DPS, Delyan Peevski, brought up his favorite topic, “Mr. Cash”, as he calls the president Rumen Radev recently.
In front of journalists, Peevski presented a photo of Alexander Neychev – former deputy mayor of Nedelino and a close associate of BSP leader Kornelia Ninova, whom he described as “Mr. Cash’s financier”. Peevski accused him of putting pressure on the candidate for the interim prime minister, Gorica Kozhareva, and suggested that the reporters investigate “whether the prime minister-candidate has the will or is under Radev’s personal control.”
Peevski appointed Neychev as the “secret financier, besides Nikolay Koprinkov, who collects Rumen Radev’s bribes, blackmails, collects, hacks”, as he put it. “This country has a fake president who is currently unconstitutionally trying to install a government,” said the DPS chairman.
At times hearing yesterday about the former banker Tsvetan Vassilevwhich he linked to former inspector Petyo Petrov-Euroto, Peevski said: “The pro-Russian proxies who attacked me are over. Moscow will not be responsible for Bulgaria.”
A little later, the MPs from DPS-Dogan also gave a briefing. They also mentioned the hearing of Tsvetan Vassilev to ask the prosecutor’s office in absentia not to bring charges against their rival Peevski. The people of Dogan described the KTB affair as “a symbol of the abuse of power, liberation and consolidation of political and economic power in the hands of a few”. But they refused to comment on the movement’s role in this story, even though Peevski belonged to the DPS even then.
