“I personally have criticisms of several ministers. I will not go into details, because there will be an intrigue,” said PP-DB deputy Nastimir Ananiev in the bTV studio
“There is Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov, Deputy Prime Minister Maria Gabriel, who will evaluate their ministers, come to the parliamentary groups that have to vote for the next cabinet and propose, if there are any changes. Prof. Hinkov (the Minister of Health – B.R. ) voluntarily said that it would not be. There are ministers who are certainly criticized, but they are not from the parties, but also from the citizens. The facts are that we have a rotation coming up in two months, but we have to finish before that a lot of work,” he explained.
The executive power has its powers, but the parliament controls through the various mechanisms allowed by the law and the rules of the National Assembly, Ananiev stressed.
He emphasized that he hopes at least half of the regulators will be with new bosses.
Ananiev also commented on PP-DB’s nomination of Borislav Belazelkov for constitutional judge. “Many people have accused us of having political quotas, we are showing that political quotas from parliament can be public,” he said.
“GERB decided to nominate Desislava Atanasova as a constitutional judge. We have crossed swords with her many times, argued in parliament, quarreled. But she is a very strong parliamentarian. The question for GERB is why Borisov is getting rid of her and retiring her in the Constitutional Court,” Ananiev added.
