PP Candidates for Provincial Capitals and Councils with 40% Women: Approval and Presentation by Núñez Feijóo

VALENCIA (EP). The National Electoral Committee of the PP has approved the candidates from provincial capitals that the party will present in the elections on May 28, which includes 40% women as headliners.

This body presided over by the Galician Diego Calvo -who is vice president of the Xunta de Galicia- has met to approve both the headliners for the 50 provincial capitals, as well as the three candidates for the provincial councils.

Specifically, in the 50 provincial capitals the Popular Party has 20 women and 30 men, which represents 40% women. In the case of Aragón, for example, the PP presents three women as ‘number one’.

The leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóowill present all of them next Sunday at an event in Madrid, in which the president of the Community will also participate, Isabel Diaz Ayusoand the mayor of the capital, José Luis Martínez-Almeida.
