Powerplay has swallowed India again; Will the BCCI dare to change the openings? | India vs England 2022 | t20 world cup semifinal | Virat Kohli | ICC Men’s World Cup T20 | KL Rahul | Rohit Sharma Sports news

India have lost at least one wicket in their first six overs in every World Cup match. India failed to get out of first gear when they crushed England in Powerplay.

India started with the first ball but could not find points afterwards. Powerplay, which had been a terror throughout the tournament, has engulfed India once again. KL followed the usual pattern of getting out at least one of the opening hitters early. Rahul crashed in the second over. Kohli came soon after, but the scoring was slow. India scored 38 points for a wicket loss in Powerplay.

England, who came out without the pressure of a big match, broke through from the start. Forerunners Alex Hales and Captain Jos Buttler made Indian bowlers drink water. In the first over, England scored 13 points including three at the limit against Bhubaneswar, who opened bowling well in previous games. The top six of the match came second over from Bhuvi.

In the same powerplay, Axar Patel and Mohammad Shami, who arrived as a bowling change, gave away the score and the hopes of the Indians were dashed. England scored 63 points out of 6 overs in Powerplay. India’s best powerplay score of the tournament is 46. It must be said that Team India lost to England in some really lively Powerplay.
