The actions are carried out within the framework of a specialized operation to stop the violations of the law and improve road safety in the settlements outside the regional town. Employees of RU-Trud, Plovdiv sectors “Specialized Police Forces” and “Traffic Police” and the Zonal Gendarmerie Department are participating. Some of the inspections were assisted by representatives of the Regional Inspectorate for Environment and Water.
By 3 pm, on the territory of the villages of Skutare and Rogosh, the mixed teams checked 161 people and 153 vehicles. For established violations of the Road Traffic Act, 10 acts and 28 fines with a slip were served. Another act was drawn up under the Insurance Code, an administrative attitude was taken for non-compliance with the Civil Registration Act.
Preliminary checks have been launched against ten people to establish data on possible crimes under the Penal Code. The cases concern unlicensed trade in ferrous and non-ferrous metals; storage of a certain amount of excise-free tobacco; unregulated logging; illegal acquisition and breeding of birds of protected species; sale of clothes of well-known brands without the consent of their right holder.
The villages of Dink and Kalekovets are to be included in the scope of the action.
