Rose hip decoction

Rosehip is a source of vitamin C, therefore it is effective against acute respiratory viral infections, colds, and flu. Rose hips have a suppressive effect on the development of pathogenic bacteria and viruses. Tea, infusion or decoction are prepared from dried rose hips. Drinks have a general strengthening and tonic effect.

The easiest way to get beneficial substances from rose hips is to pour boiling water over the dried berries and let them brew for a long time. For a liter of water you will need 5 tablespoons of rose hips. The berries are poured with hot water in a thermos and allowed to brew for at least 2-3 hours. The finished broth is filtered through a sieve, honey is added and consumed warm.

Linden collection

For ARVI and colds, diaphoretics are often prescribed to reduce fever, remove toxins and improve recovery. These remedies include linden tea, which is used to treat colds and coughs.

To prepare, take equal parts of dried crushed linden flowers, oregano herb and peppermint. Pour 1 tablespoon of the resulting herbal mixture into 1 glass of boiling water and leave in a thermos or teapot for 20 minutes. Strain the finished drink, add honey and drink throughout the day. When treating cough, it is recommended not to drink or eat anything after consuming linden collection for 1-2 hours.
