NEW YORK – Long Island fire departments are battling to douse the flames caused by a suspected gas explosion inside a Long Island home.
The powerful incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning when a house exploded at 15 West Ave in Lawrence due to an alleged gas leak, causing two other houses to catch on fire and two other cars as well.
The Lawrence-Cedarhurst Fire Department released a video on social media where several homes are shown on fire around 7 a.m.
At the moment the Lawrence-Cedarhurst Fire Department is the only department working on the scene.
