Wind squalls of almost 80 mph (about 35 m/s) have already been recorded in places along the Welsh coast.
Scottish rail operator Network Rail Scotland canceled all its trains from 7pm due to the high risk of damage to lines. The earliest trains for Monday are also canceled – flights will resume only after specialists inspect the tracks and make sure that it is safe to travel.
In Ireland, where the cyclone reached in the afternoon, more than 2,000 households have already been left without electricity and photos of trees blown down by the wind are appearing. Counties Donegal, Holway and Mayo are at red alert level and people have been advised to cancel all non-essential travel.

More than 80 flights were canceled at Dublin Airport and about a dozen were diverted to other airports.
Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, which is an important international hub, also began canceling flights in advance: the administration announced that 130 flights had already been cancelled.
KLM, Schiphol’s largest user, said it had canceled 65 flights for Monday.
Let us remind you that on Friday in Spain called in the army to rescue 600 driverswho are stuck in the snow. IN Germany earlier in the week, dozens of flights were also canceled due to freezing rain, and many kilometers of traffic jams formed on some sections of the roads.
