JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Some areas of DKI Jakarta and Bekasi experienced this power outage on Saturday (27/3/2021) morning before noon.
PLN delivered an explanation that the blackout that made the lights go out this morning was due to a disturbance.
The electrical disturbance occurred in the Bekasi Priok Sub-System at 08.06 WIB. For this incident, PLN apologized.
“PLN apologizes to customers in parts of Jakarta and Bekasi who have been affected,” wrote the announcement on the Disjaya PLN Instagram account as quoted on Saturday (27/3/2021).
It was explained that the fast moving PLN turned on the disturbed electricity.

That way, in less than 15 minutes, electricity in some of the affected areas has started to turn on.
The normalization of electricity flow is carried out in stages, starting from the electricity in Dukuh Atas, Ancol, Angke, and Kemayoran which has returned to normal. Gradually, PLN also normalizes other affected areas.
“The areas that have not been normal (the lights go out) until 09.35 WIB are: Gambir Baru, Harapan Indah, Cowshed, Kelapa Gading, Pegangsaan, Milling, Plumpang, Pulogadung, Pulomas, and Bekasi,” he wrote.

Furthermore, the DKI Jakarta area, which had a blackout due to a disturbance on the electricity transmission side of the Bekasi-Priok Sub-System, has completely returned to normal at 10:12 a.m.
The areas that were last lit were Milling, Pondok Kopi, Cakung, Rorotan, Sukapura and its surroundings.
He also said that shortly after the disturbance began this morning, PLN had immediately attempted to maneuver the network to anticipate the widespread impact of the disturbance.
“Thank you for the understanding and cooperation of customers. We have made normalization efforts gradually and we inform you that currently electricity in the DKI Jakarta area is 100 percent normal,” wrote PLN.
