Update: Power is now restored BSD central offices which will remain closed to the public today
Several BSD offices — ESC East, ESC West, MSC and WISC — are experiencing power outages today, Thursday, October 26, and will be closed to the public for the remainder of the day.
This is part of a larger outage in the Wilburton neighborhood, as reported by Puget Sound Energy (PSE). Families from Jing Mei Elementary, International School, and Bellevue Digital Discovery were contacted by their schools, as they are also impacted by this outage.
BSD phone services are also impacted by this outage. District offices and schools are not able to make outgoing external calls nor receive incoming external calls at this time. Updates will be shared as they are available.
