On Wednesday evening, there are severe delays on the Bergen line, after power problems have led to reduced crossing possibilities at Sokna.
Bane Nor initially stated that the section was closed between Flå and Hønefoss, but at 22.20 press officer Harry Korslund can tell NTB that traffic is moving, but at a reduced speed. The fault is at a crossing point on Sokna.
– It is possible to get past Sokna in both directions, but it will take time. The hardest hit will probably be freight traffic, says Korslund.
He further says that there is also a regional train on its way from Oslo to Bergen, which will be delayed between one and a half and two hours as a result of the problems.
– We hope to have the error rectified during the night and until Thursday morning, says Korslund to NTB.
