No more tramtrains since Friday April 30 between Nantes station and Haluchère station, the electrical installations have broken down in the Doulon district. SNCF Réseau does not give any indications on the rapid prospect of a return to normalcy.

Clearly, the Nantes to Châteaubriant tramtrain line is often disrupted by problems related to its electricity supply. Generally, it is the frost under the contact line, on early winter mornings, which prevents the passage of the current when crossing the Erdre valley on the Jonelière bridge. This time the concern seems more important.
SNCF Réseau indicates that experts are at the bedside of the electrical installations to determine the causes of the failure and to remedy it. Without being able to indicate when travelers will be able to return to normal service. The site Yes SNCF indicates removed services without further information or alternative transport solution.
If, in principle, the breakdowns always occur at the wrong time, it occurs on the day of the recovery in the colleges and high schools of the region. “No tramtrain is planned between Nantes and Haluchère and we invite travelers to use TAN tram n ° 1 to reach the center of Nantes”, indicates the SNCF.
If the SNCF Réseau is reserved on the possibility of a rapid return to normal, the Oui SNCF site is more optimistic, it no longer indicates any train cuts for tomorrow Tuesday, May 4.
