Zapping Onze Mondial EXCLUDED: Moussa Diaby’s “Little Brother” interview!
In September 2022, after the surprise dismissal of Thomas Tuchel, Chelsea, under the leadership of its new owner Todd Boehly, decided to entrust the reins of the first team to Graham Potter. In full swing on the Brighton side, the English technician was one of the rising coaches in the Premier League. Unfortunately for him, the London adventure turned out to be very short with a departure a few months later in April 2023 after a home defeat against Aston Villa (0-2).
Potter’s little dig at the Chelsea leaders!
Free from any contract since the end of this adventure, the 49-year-old coach has been linked to several positions (OL, Ajax, English selection) without however finding a bench. In comments given to the Telegraph, the native of Solihull did not fail to address a small dig to the leaders of Chelsea: “I take responsibility for the results. But the easy solution is that when Chelsea don’t win, it’s because of the manager… he’s the problem. It may not be 100% false, but it’s not 100% true either.” he declared.
It is true that since Boehly took over the club, stability has not been the watchword in the English capital. As a reminder, since Potter’s departure, three coaches have already succeeded one another (Lampard, Pochettino, Maresca).
