The Potsdam Royals footballers have won the regional derby at the Berlin Rebels. On the 4th day of the German Football League, the Brandenburgers won 21:6 (6:0, 8:6, 7:0, 0:0) away.
The Berliners did not manage to reach the end zone against Potsdam. The Rebels only scored their points through field goals and were therefore unable to hold their own against the more run-friendly and efficient Royals. “We got in our own way today. A lot of things happened today that we couldn’t really influence. But we won’t let this defeat get us down. We’re ready,” said Bryce Goggin, wide receiver of the Berlin Rebels, after the Game.
While it was the first defeat of the season for the Berliners, the Potsdam Royals are still undefeated.
