The Potsdam Royals footballers clinched an away win on the sixth day of the German Football League (GFL). The Brandenburgers won on Saturday evening in the capital at the Berlin Adler with 64:17 (14:0, 14:10, 16:7, 20:0). This keeps the Royals in first place in Group North 1. After the bankruptcy, the Berliners remain in fourth and last place in the season.
The Potsdam Royals continue next Saturday with the home game against the Braunschweig Lions in the Karl Liebknecht Stadium. The Berlin Adler received the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes on the same day.
In Group North 2, the Berlin Rebels won their game against the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes. The away team won on Saturday with 31:28 (7:3, 3:3, 14:15, 7:7). The Rebels are now third in the table.
The next game for the Berliners will be on August 5th, then again against the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes in front of their home crowd.
