In less than six months, the new state government rehabilitated 43 kilometers of roads, replaced 900 poles and installed more than 4,600 lights with LED technology and 35 transformers, which will provide greater safety and night visibility for motorists.

In addition, new signage was installed, the vehicular bridges were redesigned and new pedestrian bridges were placed for the safety of pedestrians, this is complemented by the installation of buoys and traffic lights in Coronel Romero extension, a request made by neighbors and drivers who pass through this important via.

On repeated occasions, the State President has stated that the work will contribute to road and public safety in the metropolitan area of ​​San Luis Potosí, “providing adequate lighting levels so that people feel safe.”

The work will also bring benefits to the Industrial Zone, because together with the two routes planned with the Potosí Council in the east and west towards the manufacturing zone, the main avenues of the city, such as Highway 57, will be decongested.
