Potential Voter Fraud Involving Indonesian Presidential Candidate Number 3 in Taiwan – Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD Speak Out

Jakarta

Circulating on social media are ballot papers in Taiwan with the presidential and vice presidential candidate number 3 being voted on. Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud Md. The National Winning Team (TPN) Ganjar-Mahfud opened their voices.

In the viral video seen on Friday (19/1/2023), two men were seen showing ballots that had been punched, one was the 2024 Presidential Election ballot and the other was the 2024 Legislative Election ballot. and Mahfud.

TPN Media Channel Deputy Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD, Karaniya Dharmasaputra, emphasized that none of Ganjar-Mahfud’s parties carried out the ballot papers. Meanwhile, the 2024 Legislative Election ballot papers were voted on in the PDI-Perjuangan section.

“We need to clarify, the question was, why did Ganjar-Mahfud vote? What we want to emphasize is that we have checked that no one from the Ganjar-Mahfud party voted. That’s the first. Please clarify that,” said Karaniya in a press conference at Media Ganjar-Mahfud TPN Center in Menteng, Central Jakarta, Friday (19/1/2024).

Karaniya assessed that the Ganjar-Mahfud camp had been vocal about the irregularities in the circulation of ballot papers. He then accused there were parties who wanted to distort the facts.

“Secondly, please friends, don’t forget, we are the ones who are questioning the irregularities in the ballot papers which are suddenly circulating in Taiwan too? The question is whether there are parties who want to spoil what we actually revealed? The first thing to say is from Ganjar’s side “-Mahfud. So why is it now circulating that Ganjar-Mahfud is being voted for? Please media friends conclude what really happened,” he stressed.

“The two clear facts are that this issue was first raised by the Ganjar-Mahfud TPN. Second, none of the Ganjar-Mahfud parties did that. In fact, we raised this issue because it could become a big problem,” he continued.

On the other hand, his party has communicated with election monitoring specialists abroad. According to him, supervisors have great attention during this year’s presidential election.

“We have spoken with our election monitoring friends, especially those who specialize in overseas election monitoring. I think our friends have a lot of experience overseas monitoring, and have the same big concerns as us, especially in this presidential election,” he said.

Meanwhile, TPN Todung Legal Deputy Mulya Lubis admitted that he was worried about the potential for misuse of ballot papers sent abroad. According to him, there is room where ballot papers are sent beyond the voter list.

“I can’t say whether it’s true or not, but there is room to use more ballot papers than the number of votes according to the voter list. This might happen but I don’t want to speculate. I’m just saying there are votes that can be used, can be counted because of things like that. “This can be done,” said Todung.

On the other hand, his party has communicated with the KPU to comply with the applicable schedule and not play around with the ballot papers.

“We have met with the KPU, we have reminded the KPU to… stick stick to the rules, stick to the schedule, and don’t play games with the ballot paper because one vote has value, one vote should not be lost. “But one, two or more of them must not be manipulated,” he added.
