Former Barcelona striker, Ousmane Dembele, who now plays for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Star French winger, Ousmane Dembele, has struggled to make an impact at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) since joining the club in the summer. If it fails to develop and PSG decide to sell him, several English Premier League clubs would reportedly love to have him.
According to the latest report from Daily MirrorTuesday (26/9/2023), Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are all eyeing a move Dembele should PSG make him available. It is believed that the three clubs are willing to bring in the 26 year old player on loan as early as January 2023.
Arsenal and Tottenham have had promising starts to the season. Currently both sit in the top 5 of the Premier League standings, but want to add players who have attacking ability to ensure they stay there. West Ham, on the other hand, are seventh and looking to strengthen their team to chase a position that guarantees a place in European competitions.
Dembele joined PSG with a transfer value of 50 million euros or approximately IDR 816 billion from the Spanish La Liga team, Barcelona. He has made six appearances in all competitions for the reigning French Ligue 1 champions, but is yet to score a goal.
PSG coach Luis Enrique is reportedly patient but may drop Dembele from his starting line-up if he continues to disappoint.
Dembele previously spent six seasons with Barcelona, scoring 40 goals and providing 43 assists in 185 appearances. He also played with Rennes and Borussia Dortmund at the start of his career.
