Spain’s Marca have named five well-known goalkeepers who could replace injured Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibault Courtois.
On Thursday, Real Madrid reported that Courtois had been diagnosed with a torn ACL in his left knee. Thus, the 31-year-old goalkeeper was out for a long time.
Real Madrid could potentially consider signing David de Gea, who is out of a job after leaving Manchester United, according to a source. Another Spaniard on this list is Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Real Madrid may also try to sign Moroccan Yassin Buna (Sevilla), Georgian Giorgi Mamardashvili (Valencia) or Croat Dominik Livakovic (Dynamo Zagreb).
In the opening match of the new season of the championship of Spain, Real Madrid will play away with Athletic on August 12.
