general secretary PDIP extension Hasto Kristiyanto mentioned the names of cadres who were expected to participate in the exchange of presidential candidates after leaking the criteria. Hasto said the chairman of the DPR Madam Empress to the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo become a potential PDIP predisposed figure.
“Yes, actually there are many names in PDI Perjuangan. As many ministers are also promoted from PDI Perjuangan, they are very well prepared,” Hasto told PDIP DPP, Menteng, Central Jakarta on Tuesday (3/1/2023).
Hasto conveyed that Puan Maharani’s leadership ability was being tested. He praised Puan’s performance during the parliamentary 20 or P20 some time ago.
“So, for Ms. Puan Maharani, her leadership ability has been tested internally in the party, in the party legislature, in the party executive. It cannot be denied that Ms. Puan’s leadership ability and ability Yesterday, in the framework of the G20 parliament, there was so much appreciation,” Hasto said.
Hasto also praised Ganjar’s process so far he has served as regional chief. He said Ganjar had come from below.
“Pak Ganjar as a regional head has also come from the bottom up to become a member of the legislature,” he said.
In addition to Puan and Ganjar, Hasto mentioned the names of other cadres, from Olly Dondokambey, Tri Rismaharini, to Wayan Koster.
“There is Mr. Olly who has achieved very good governorship in North Sulawesi. Then there is Mr. Pramono Anung, there is Ms. Risma who has been able to bring about change,” Hasto said .

Hasto stressed that the PDIP has never stopped leading leadership regeneration. So he said his party didn’t lack a supply of leaders.
“So we never stop pursuing leadership regeneration. There is Pak Wayan Koster. So the PDIP has no shortage of leaders. This is what it was prepared for,” he said.
