Potential Development of Low Pressure Area over Arabian Sea Next Week: NCM Update

A low pressure area (LPA) could develop over the Arabian Sea for next week, informed this Thursday the National Meteorological Centera United Arab Emirates (NCM).

An LPA is an area where the atmospheric pressure is lower than that of its surrounding areas. It is commonly associated with inclement weather of time, like clouds and windwith possible rainy o storms.

It is LPA potential, however, will not have no effect in the country, clarified the Meteorological Department.

“Numerical weather forecasting models indicate a probability of tropical conditions in the southern Arabian Sea by the end of next week.”

“Numerical weather forecasting models still show some variation enter here location of the formation, the moment and the trajectory, and that is the result of the length of the period and the fluctuation of the data between each model. No impact is expected during the next week in the country in the event that form”NCM noted.
