CD Project Red has decided to release the Xbox Series X / S and PS 5 versions of the critically acclaimed The Witcher 3.
Possibly the new versions will come at the end of the year instead of in the summer
Something dramatic must have happened to the partners at Saber Interactive, because CDPR has decided to complete the work internally, but the entire launch has now been postponed indefinitely. The company now says that they must consider how much work is involved.
The plan was to launch the new editions before the end of June. CDPR has announced that a new The Witcher game is on the way with Unreal Engine 5. This game is in its infancy and therefore several years away from launch.
The company says they will update us when they know more about how much work is needed.
