The 21st day of the Top 14 loses another poster. Dedicated to regional rivalries and derbies, this day has already recently lost the match between Montpellier and Toulon after the discovery of several cases of coronavirus within the RCT workforce. However, the National Rugby League has put an end to the suspense concerning the meeting between Agen and Bordeaux-Bègles, initially scheduled for this Saturday with a kick-off at 5.45 p.m. Indeed, “following several positive cases for Covid-19 declared within the workforce of the UBB, and in application of the Covid 19 medical protocol”, the NRL ordered the postponement “to a later date” of this meeting between the red lantern and the semi-finalist of the Champions Cup. A new date which could prove difficult to find due to the lack of dates available for the UBB. Consequently, the NRL could be forced to reschedule this meeting during the week.

The match of Racing 92 also concerned?
Through a press release, the Bordeaux-Bègles Union confirmed that “the RT-PCR tests carried out at the beginning of the week revealed several positive cases for Covid-19 within the workforce”. In addition, the Gironde club specifies that “as a precaution, training has been suspended and will resume in small groups depending on the results of the next tests which will be carried out”. An announcement that could have other consequences. Indeed, according to information revealed by RMC Sport, these are two frontline players who started last weekend against Racing 92 who are concerned and who could have transmitted the virus to their opponents during the meeting. Faced with this particular situation, the National Rugby League should soon be called upon to decide on the holding of the Ile-de-France derby, the closing poster of this 21st day, scheduled for this Saturday evening. In the event of a postponement, a 5.45 p.m. poster could then be postponed to start at 9.05 p.m.
