Postponed cross-save between Switch and PC for Hades

Playing on your PC and then continuing on the road on your Switch, that’s a great idea. Especially with a game that takes as many hours as Hades. But unfortunately we have to wait a little longer for it.

Supergiant Games has postponed the cross-save between Switch and PC for their upcoming game Hades. That makes the developer known via Twitter.

Hades is a rogue-lite action game that has been available on PC in Early Access since 2018, but should be released on PC and Nintendo Switch this fall. The functionality to share savegames between those two platforms was previously promised before launch, but has now been postponed.

“While preparing for launch, we ran into some problems testing this feature,” said Supergiant Games. “Rather than delaying the game until the feature is complete, we’ll be introducing cross-saves in an update later this year, following the release of v1.0 in the fall.”
