Arne Hurlen (53) has been Postgirobygget’s frontman and vocalist since the start in 1996. With over 700,000 albums sold, his songs have become popular. Sounds like Bohemen lives and Idyll creates recognition from the first note.

And today at the Evjetangen marina at Diling outside Moss, it was exactly idyllic – when Hurlen said yes to his girlfriend Kathrine von Tangen (34).

Memory for life
For the outdoor wedding, the bride came riding a horse along the beach in a white dress – which danced in the wind. The moment was like something taken from a fairy tale. The many guests really got a memory to last a lifetime.
Although heavy, gray clouds hung over the place – it was still a sunny day for the Postgirobygget star and his Kathrine. Incidentally, the animal-loving bride usually rides horses – so the means of getting by was therefore not that unusual for her.

On 19 February this year, news broke that the couple had become engaged. Kathrine commented on a picture on Instagram where she and Arne were walking hand in hand with the words “We are no longer random”, followed by an emoji showing a ring and a heart.
The couple met by chance on an island in the Oslo Fjord just over two years ago. It was love at first sight.

– Have a good time together
In the summer months, Postgirobygget is perhaps the busiest band that tours around Norway. This summer too, they have delighted many tens of thousands of Norwegians.
And one of the band’s biggest fans is Arne Hurlen’s girlfriend Kathrine – who loves to be in the audience when the man in her life performs.
– We give each other freedom
From a previous relationship, Hurlen has two children born in 2001 and 2003. If he can imagine children with Kathrine, he told a little about it in an interview with Dagbladet this spring.
– When love comes, it is important to seize it. But reproduction is not the meaning of life. Children do not define the love between two people. We get on well together, but I rarely rule out some of the finer things life has to offer.
In 2021, Hurlen could be seen in TV 2’s “Hver gang vi møtes” together with the artists Hkeem, Agnete Saba, Hanne Krogh, Stian “Staysman” Thorbjørnsen, Trygve Skaug and Maria Mena.
