PostePay and Bancoposta, total blackout for telematic services: all apps out of service

Over the last 10 years, the world of smartphones, as we well know, has literally experienced its boom, offering models suitable for all age groups and for different targets, adapting well to every type of end customer.

Consequent to the smartphone boom has been the spread of applications (or more commonly apps) that are useful for everything from checking our route, booking a hotel or a plane, ordering food at home and so on.

Nowadays, the so-called home banking mode has become increasingly popular among customers, which allows customers of some banks (now practically all, nowadays) to consult the status of their current and carry out payment transactions real in a simple and fast way from your smartphone, without any kind of problem.

Unfortunately, in the last few hours there have been some problems with Poste Italiane, as a total blackout has been recorded regarding the use of all telematic services, going to understand respectively PostePay (the famous Poste Italiane debit card used by thousands of people) and the service Bancoposta.

In fact, many users promptly reported the malfunction of both services, since they were unable to access them, while receiving some error messages as a response. The whole thing would have started respectively starting from last year December 15th (early in the morning, approximately around 9), and to date there are unfortunately no improvements in this regard.

Furthermore, it is not only the apps of the respective services that are affected, but even their web versionswhich report the same type of error. The only service currently available and not gone offline remains PosteID, which can be readily accessed by entering one’s SPID.

In this case, the error messages would refer to some generic connection errors to the Poste Italiane servers, or possibly a connection error that would affect the user. The error appears using any access method, both via PosteID, and with one’s own credentials, and even with the biometric recognition (via FaceID or fingerprints, to be clear). It’s a really onerous and heavy situation that we hope will be resolved in the shortest possible time, given the inconvenience that is resulting from it.

We therefore just have to wait for further updates on the matter from Poste Italiane, possibly through the release of a communication or a press release, which will arrive over the next few days.
