A new scam pretending to be Poste Italiane is worrying users. What is this latest attempt at deception?

All this takes place with a well-established mechanism, namely that of the SMS. A tool that is now slowly becoming obsolete, but which in some way is still capable of reaping victims.
The content isn’t exactly new either. People are led to believe that there is a problem with the Bancoposta account and that to solve it, click on the attached link. And this is precisely the crucial step that risks seriously compromising people’s data and savings.
In fact, once the hyperlink has been clicked, you will be led on a page that at first glance will seem practically identical to that of Poste Italiane. who the account details are requested from the user, who, thinking of taking a decisive action, actually delivers all the information to cybercriminals, which later take over the cash on hand.

As a result of this, one must always be wary of communications of this kind. Post offices and credit institutions NEVER ask (it should be emphasized in large letters) for data from their account holders via SMS or email. For clarifications of this type, we are called directly on site or we use a certified consultant who can help solve the problem remotely.
In all other cases it is a petty attempt to steal other people’s money, which must be promptly reported. Anyone who is a little more experienced or in any case more cunning when faced with these communications has themoral obligation to inform those who are not yet familiar with these unpleasant situations.
