Eleven postcode lottery entrants playing together with the winning postcode 1961 GB are the winners of the biggest prize. How much someone wins depends on the number of Kanjerpoints saved in 2022. Winners have won sums ranging from €2.2 MILLION to €5.2 MILLION.
Jan and Ria received a check for €2.8 MILLION from Caroline Tensen. Ria replied: “That this could happen to me, I am completely silent. We participate for charity and often see other people win an award. Now the PostcodeChampion has fallen here in Heemskerk. Don’t film! I’ve never seen anything like this in my life.” Jan added: “We’re both turning 80 this year, so there’s going to be a big party!”
Quinty Trustfull surprised Claudia with a check for €2.2 MILLION. When asked what she will do with the prize? “I have simple dreams. Going on vacation earlier seems wonderful to me, nice to get away.”
Mabel, 25, has just graduated and works as a nurse. She wins 2.8 MILLION euros and receives the check from Caroline Tensen: “I never dreamed of it! I live on 19 square meters, so my house would be very nice.”
Neighbors share Heemskerk € 29.45 MILLION
The other half of the PostcodeChampion goes to all participants who play the winning neighborhood code 1961 together. How much they won remains exciting for a while and will be announced at the neighborhood party. This block party will take place on Friday 6 January at a location in Heemskerk to be announced at a later date. All winners will receive a personal message and winnings will be paid out in January.
Even more awards in the new year
Today, throughout the Netherlands, we toast to the happy start of the new year. The postcode lottery announced 25 winning postcodes this afternoon, each sharing a ton with the other. In the period up to and including 6 January, another 60 postcodes will win a ton. With a total prize pool of €425.9 MILLION in prizes and giveaways, there will be 60,000 winning postcodes every month by 2023.
