The first day of summer will also be the last of life for thousands of post office books. Poste Italiane has in fact advised several of its customers that on 21 June 2022 it will pay off all passbooks with amounts equal to or less than one hundred euros, which have never been used in the last ten years. After this date, the money will be managed by Consap, a wholly owned subsidiary of the state.
