VIENNA. With a new advertising campaign, Austrian Post is drawing attention to its diverse reception options. The focus is on the more than 1,200 self-service stations (self-service), where parcels can be received and returned around the clock – within the “sleep radius”.
“The post office is there for everyone in Austria, around the clock and increasingly within the ‘sleeve radius’. With this campaign we want to raise awareness of our services and make our customers aware of the convenient reception options. And with a wink,” says Manuela Bruck, Head of Corporate Communications and Customer Relations, Österreichische Post AG.
The Austria-wide campaign runs from the beginning of October to the end of November and includes a comprehensive media mix of TV, out of home, print, online & social media (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok, display ads), owned media (“Das Kuvert” , Point of Sale, Digital out of Home), newsletters, direct mailings and spreads in the Post app and on post.at.
The campaign is aimed at the general public between 15 and 55 years old. The advertising materials include one 25-second TV spot, Posters, escalator stickers in the U3 Rochusgasse station and digital screens. A special highlight is the eye-catching wall painting by the Warda Network in the heavily frequented Hollandstrasse on the Danube Canal in Vienna’s second district.
In addition to traditional advertising, Swiss Post relies on direct mailings and newsletters to reach its private customers directly. A mailing with a circulation of around 770,000 copies informs recipients at the beginning of November about the one-off and permanent reception options. An accompanying newsletter will be sent to those post accounts that were registered in the last three years and have not yet used the receiving options.
The customized hub agency VIOLET and the media agency adverserve, a wholly owned subsidiary of Austrian Post, are responsible for the conception and implementation of the campaign.
