Note: The ideal candidate should live in the community in question. Applications from people who do not live in the Post Office community can be considered requests.

- sell postal products and services to businesses and the public;
- properly sort, distribute and process mail;
- provide customers with information and forms;
- address delivery and service challenges to resolve issues quickly and comprehensively.

Eligibility criteria
- High school diploma or equivalent, or experience in business administration
- Education and/or experience relating to interacting with the public in the retail and/or service environment, including sales and cash transactions
- Understanding of ordinary accounting or post office systems
- Physically fit enough to lift mail containers up to 50 pounds, push or pull boxes, sort mail, and stand for long periods of time
- Flexibility to be available for temporary tasks on availability
