It’s hard for me to evaluate the match, but I’m not saying we played badly, hats off. We’ve been playing, but we’re always missing something. Now a decent, good, fighting match for me. Neither team liked it. Only the home team was happier for the goal.
Is it hard on the psyche?
It’s complicated. It will probably sound like a cliché, but we still have a lot of work ahead of us, a lot of matches, and we can still push ourselves away from the bottom and play for the promotion ranks and the playoffs. It’s just about us. We have to win, for example, 1-0 with a goal after such setbacks as today. The puck touches someone three times and you score a goal out of nowhere. This is how we need to break it.

How does the cabin work in this situation?
It’s difficult, again it’s a new situation for us. Last year we slipped through the season and now we are experiencing difficult times. There are twenty-two guys in the cabin, we have to help each other and believe in a good tomorrow. It’s frustrating for everyone to keep losing, but that doesn’t mean the cabin doesn’t work. I believe that we all want to do our job to the best of our ability. I don’t know what to compare it to, but sometimes my wife doesn’t succeed in making ten pancakes out of ten… Something always fails, it’s about knocking ourselves out of it.

I have no idea. If that happens, of course I wish him the best, but we all hope it doesn’t happen. But I’m not one of the management, I can’t see into it.
You played five seasons in Liberec, is it still a special match against him for you?
There are still a lot of guys here that I know and see in the summer. At training or anywhere else. I am in contact with some of them. Matches against him always have something special. I’ve been here for a long time, I’ve lived here for fifteen years.
