With the impetus of this forum, Cuba guarantees the most daring art of our times by giving value and strength to the youngest generation of creators, who used for this presentation the diversity of current issues of the society in which they live today.
One of the curators, Ariadna Cabrera, spoke to Prensa Latina and said that this is not a thematic exhibition, but rather “a compilation of works that highlights the variety of experiences of each of these artists.”
Through this contest we begin the second decade of Post-It, with which, as in previous years, the contestants persist in their desire to communicate their most personal universes and visions in relation to the realities that shape them, explained the specialist.
This eleventh edition of Post-It brings a plurality of languages and media, communication resources, tones and postures, so the contest becomes a mirror of current events, said the curator.
The exhibition, held in the centre of the Cuban capital, is the result of an exquisite selection by the jury, which includes, except for painting, installation works including video, photography and large-scale drawing.
