Earlier this year, WB Games confirmed that Mortal Kombat 12 would release during 2023, and developer NetherRealm Studios also recently released a brief teaser for the game. And with the next part of the fighting game apparently getting ready for a full reveal, there may also be new details about some of the character roster additions.
Mortal Kombat, like many other well-known franchises, has a rich history of guest characters from other IPs, and it looks like the next game in the series will feature a couple of popular superhero characters in that capacity. According to hints recently tweeted out by journalist Jez Corden, DC comics character Peacekeeper and Homelander from The Boys may appear in Mortal Kombat 12 as guest characters. Whether they will be included as DLC after launch remains to be seen.
