Possible Reopening of Lyon’s Parks and Cemeteries Depending on Weather Conditions

The city of Lyon indicates that large parks and cemeteries could reopen in the afternoon this Thursday, November 2 depending on changes in weather conditions.

The city of Lyon announces the closure to the public of the four large parks (Tête d’or, Cerisaie, Blandan and Gerland) this Thursday, November 2 due to violent winds. It will be the same for all Lyon cemeteries.

The cause: wind gusts of up to 80 km/h. “A lull is expected in the middle of the day,” specifies the municipality which could then decide to reopen the premises in the afternoon.

The same vigilance should apply for the day of Saturday November 4 with new gusts of wind, adds the city of Lyon on his website.
