The two women fell ill after a meeting with Russians in exile in Berlin. This is according to the German police, according to the AFP news agency, writes the Danish newspaper B.T.

The Russian media Agentstvo wrote earlier this week that the two women attended the meeting at the end of April.
The meeting was organized by Mikhail Khodorkovsky, who has publicly criticized the Kremlin.
Hearing screams on the plane
Already during the meeting in Berlin, the journalist developed symptoms. Soon after, she was transported to Charité University Hospital, which is the same hospital where Russian opposition politician Alexei Navalny was treated when he was poisoned in August 2020.
The Russian activist also suffered symptoms of poisoning after the meeting.
We are talking about Natalia Arno, who is the head of the organization Free Russia Foundation.
She now lives in the United States after moving from Russia ten years ago.
– It is suspected that on my last trip to Europe I was poisoned with a nerve agent, which Western intelligence services are now investigating. I still have symptoms, but I am doing much better now, she writes in a post on Facebook.
– Colossal danger for the West
Shortly after the meeting in Berlin, she traveled to Prague. It was only when she was there that she got symptoms of possible poisoning, she confirms on Facebook.
According to AFP, Moscow and the Kremlin deny being involved in the possible poisonings of the Russian women in exile.
