Possible explosive discovered: Traffic congestion on A58 compelled by machinery failure

Part of De Kreijenbeek in Valkenswaard was cordoned off this morning after the discovery of a possible explosive device. This is reported by the police. The find was made around a quarter to ten in a front garden of a house. The area has been cordoned off within a radius of 150 metres.

People in this area have not been evacuated. “They are allowed to stay inside their home,” the police said. The Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service has been informed and is coming to Valkenswaard. Police specialists are also investigating.
